Guest Blog by Jan Kiermasz, digital trainer from John Jelly, see bio below
As a Digital Trainer I have worked with many people who claim to be thick. Those that didn’t do well in exams and those who haven’t grown up with technology the way our children are growing up sometimes struggle with the possibility of being able to learn. All of them have successfully learnt with me, from how to handle Facebook Marketing to building their own websites. I firmly believe that nobody is thick, everyone is capable of learning no matter what level of education, what age they might be (my eldest student was in his 90’s) or how familiar (or not) they are with technology.
It isn’t just down to the teaching methods, they all have one thing in common: they want to learn. I believe it’s your mindset that enables you to improve yourself. Somebody once said “whether you believe you can or you believe you can’t, you’re right”: they were right. Being in the right mindset about learning means you’re open to learn. If you’re open to learn then you will learn (with the right teacher).
If you truly believe you can achieve something you will. I’m happy to help you with mastering the Digital World of business while the Thrive program will help you master day to day living. It’s a case of you ‘wanting’ to learn.
I’m still learning. I love to learn. I love to share what I learn with others (that’s why I’m a trainer) but more than that it means I continue to grow, I learn from those I teach too. It keeps life interesting. It helps me build relationships.
Never be afraid to learn. Never be afraid to improve yourself. You aren’t thick – there is just stuff you don’t know yet. If you need help with your learning ask! If that’s learning to get more from life, to be the best human you can be then speak to Pat. If that’s developing your business using Digital Media then speak to me. Open your mind to the possibilities of what you can achieve and accept the help.
